Care at Home Workers - East Dunbartonshire

NOTE – Due to the nature of this role applicants must hold a full UK driving license and have access to your own transport. Mileage is provided to reimburse travel between service users homes.

We are looking for candidates with a flexible, honest and reliable approach, to provide the following services which will enable service users to remain independent in their own home:

- Assistance with personal care, including dressing and undressing
- Meal preparation
- Medication assistance, prompting and administering
- Providing domestic and household services
- Cleaning where required
- Assisting clients to develop and maintain their daily living skills
- Promptly reporting any change which may affect the health or well-being of a client


A variety of shift patterns can be offered within this role including full time, part time, weekends and bank hours, as well as the option to undertake additional hours. Holiday pay is also provided.

All new Clyde Homecare staff are provided with full training to allow them to undertake this demanding role, ensuring that candidates who don’t possess experience in this role can apply. You will also be supported to undertake personal development and learning.

A free uniform and smart phone will also be provided for work purposes.

Successful applicants will also be required to undertake a PVG Disclosure Check and be SSSC registered or willing to become registered.

All new employees must register with the SSSC within 6 months of commencing employment and failure to do so may result in not being offered work.

The cost of your PVG will be covered following successful completion of a qualifying period.

We offer various shift patterns for care and support staff, pay mileage to all staff using their own cars during the course of a shift, and provide comprehensive training before you begin your care and support career, with back-up from our management team at all times.
